We moved from a smaller home as we were looking for a house that offered us a family home we could grow in to.
The character offset the amount of work the house needed and sadly when we moved in there was even more to do under the surface. We had to do everything including re-wiring amongst other jobs.
We changed the layout of the hallway and the kitchen/breakfast room to make the most of the area and it has been a fantastic family space. We also converted the garage to become a home office, which has been ideal.
We added a conservatory too, which has a great view down the garden.
We'll miss the space and the rear outlook.
