43 years ago in a company move, we relocated from north of London, choosing East Grinstead as an amenable location particularly as we had a young family. At the time the house had already been extended and so offered us the extra space we needed.
Since arriving, we have converted all windows and doors to double glazing and also refitted both the kitchen/breakfast room and bathroom. A new boiler, also radiators, have recently been fitted and we have re-decorated regularly over time.
We will miss the outlook to the North Downs, the amount of space the house has afforded us and the pleasures of our rear garden which is not overlooked. In all, we will miss our very happy family home of earlier years here.
