This house has been part of our family since it was built by my grandfather back in 1935. He was a well known figure in Dartford and was responsible for building the majority of the houses in the surrounding area. He built this house and the one next door for his own family and the larger plot is what makes this such a unique place to live. Over the years the garden has evolved and we have enjoyed every moment of looking after it. We even have a giant Redwood tree which has been grown from a seed brought back from a trip to the United States. It is unlikely you will ever see one of these trees in a private garden anywhere else. The house itself is a lovely place to live. It was built to last and it has really stood up to the test of time.
