Situation

Jackfield is a small, long established village style community pleasantly situated in the Severn Gorge on the southern bank of the River Severn. It is an area steeped in the history of the Industrial Revolution and is located a little over one mile east of the renowned and historic township of Ironbridge which is now a World Heritage Site. It is some six miles south of the wide range of facilities at Telford town centre.

Chapel Road is a quietly situated short road of just a few properties, the majority of which are similar style detached bungalows.  It is located away from through traffic and set in pleasant semi-rural wooded surroundings.

The property

Offers generous accommodation comprising an entrance hallway which gives access to the living room and two ground floor bedrooms.  The living room has a staircase ascending to the first floor; at the far end there is a passageway which gives access to the downstairs bathroom and kitchen.  The bathroom has the added advantage of having a corner bath and separate shower cubicle.  The kitchen has a range of base and wall units, space for larger style cooker and space for three additional appliances, outlook towards the rear garden and a Upvc door leading to the rear conservatory.  The brick/Upvc conservatory has double opening doors leading to the rear garden.

On the first floor there is a small landing area with bi-folding door giving access to a wash room/wc.  Further access leads to a dormer bedroom which has a roof light and useful eaves storage area.

Outside

To the front of the property there is a block paved driveway giving access to the garage; steps lead to a block paved area. The rear garden is well screened by shrubs and trees and has steps leading to a raised paved patio, further steps leading to raised beds, well laid lawn and footpath leading to pedestrian access to the rear of the garage.

How to get there – from Ironbridge proceed down Waterloo Street towards Broseley and turn right over the Free Bridge; turn immediately left and continue for a few hundred yards passing The Black Swan; at the old level crossing turn right into Chapel Road and bear left where the property is on the right hand side indicated by a Nick Tart for sale board.

Tenure – we are advised the property is Freehold.

Services – we are advised all mains services are connected. Gas fired central heating system.

Council Tax – Band C (Buyers should be aware that improvements carried out by the seller may affect the property’s council tax banding following a sale).
