We bought our home in 2005 because we came from a farm and we felt straight at home when we saw the magnificent view from the back garden.
Our children were always wanting to visit, bringing the grandchildren along to see the baby lambs in the field. Our daughter wanted to get married from here and we have some amazing photographs of the wedding car collecting her. However, we now feel it's time for us to downsize and move on.
We're going to miss the fantastic Christmases we have spent with all the family here and of course Christmas won't be Christmas without cooking chestnuts on the open fire.
We'll be sad to leave Ashington as it's such a friendly village.
