Set in the rural hamlet of Brightley and situated close to the river and Abbeyford Woods. It lies 1.5 miles north of Okehampton and Dartmoor National Park. The market town of Okehampton nestles on the Northern fringes of the Dartmoor National Park and is known as the "gateway to the moor". Within the town there are a wide range of local and national shops to include a Waitrose supermarket and Victorian shopping arcade. For those keen on sport there are a number of clubs and facilities available to include thriving rugby, football and golf clubs along with a leisure centre and two gyms. Education caters for children up to the age of eighteen. The cathedral city of Exeter (23 miles) is less than 30 minutes away by car, as is the Cornish border.
