Caberfeidh is situated in the village of Aultbea which lies on the shores of Loch Ewe, a sea loch on the west coast of Scotland. The village is a small crofting community around 45 miles from Ullapool and 12 miles north of Gairloch with a well stocked village shop, butchers, post office, garage and pub. The cottage is an ideal setting close to the sea.
The area offers a wide range of activities to enjoy, from a relaxing round of golf or wildlife watching cruise to a hike through the rugged mountains taking in the breath-taking scenery. It is also a very popular area for fishing and climbing.
Only a five minute stroll from the cottage you can enjoy spectacular views of the Isle of Ewe with the beautiful backdrop of the Torridon hills beyond. A short drive away, the white sandy beaches of Gruinard Bay, Mellon Udrigle and Gairloch. Gairloch has an excellent 9 hole golf course and there are numerous boat trips from the harbour taking you to view the wealth of wildlife and cruise around nearby islands. There is an indoor swimming pool in the village of Poolewe and the well known Inverewe Tropical Gardens are just 6 miles away. High street shops, supermarkets and cinemas can be found in the town of Dingwall or further east in Inverness.
Caberfeidh is a cosy cottage with the accommodation all on one level and a large enclosed garden.
