Property description
This semi-detached bungalow comes to the market for the very first time, and has been much loved by its previous owners. However, the property now finds itself in need of some care and attention. We have allowed for this in our pricing strategy, so that buyers have the opportunity to add real value to the property as they create their dream home.
It’s a good size bungalow, with three bedrooms and a 17 feet lounge. The end plot means that the garden and driveway are quite large and usefully, there’s a great deal of potential to extend. The large entrance hall gives plenty of room to add a staircase to convert the loft space. Adding a gable end and loft extension like neighbouring properties would give a large, light and airy bedroom and possibly an en-suite. At the side and rear, you can choose to design a large kitchen/diner, or upgrade the existing sun room to a double-glazed conservatory. The choices are endless.
The property is at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, so there’s no passing traffic. The school fields to the right and the recreation ground at the rear mean that the garden is quiet and private. If you are looking for a home with potential, in a lovely location and within walking distance of town and schools, then this property is a must-see.

Mum and Dad bought this property off-plan in 1957, Dad worked at Gatwick, and Mum joined Sun Alliance when it first moved to Horsham. The location was perfect- I was able to walk everywhere, firstly to Trafalgar and Greenway schools, and later to Tanbridge House. The recreation ground and river walk were on the doorstep, and the park, library and sports centre were only ten minutes away. Later I could walk or cycle to the station for my daily commute to London. Shopping trips to Guildford, Brighton or Crawley were easy. As I was an only child, my parents never felt the need to extend or upgrade the property, so it offers great potential for a young family.
