Property description
Are you looking for that quintessential place in the country to relax and unwind? Are you used to the finer things in life? Well we may just have the property for you.
Located on the outskirts of the historical village of Charlwood is this lovely chalet bungalow. With many recent modifications made to this home offering you better functionality and flexibility to the accommodation.
Whether you are approaching your senior years or a young family, this property offers great flexible accommodation. The main reception space is perfect for the family to relax and catch up on the day’s events, for the more romantic you also have a log burning stove to snuggle round in the colder months. If you need a downstairs bathroom you will be pleased to hear there is a double bedroom with its own shower room. This also makes a great study or hobby space. For special occasions you have a formal dining room overlooking the garden, again if you prefer this could be used as a bedroom. Upstairs the master bedroom and second bedroom have en-suites with the master enjoying a Juliet balcony to the garden, ideal for the summertime when you can fling open the door and let the sunshine in.
The garden is unspoilt and offers the potential to do something more elaborate for the green fingered, however, currently it is a great open lawned space to run and play.
What the Owner says:
We first moved here because we love the countryside and wanted to relax and enjoy life but still be close to civilisation for the day to day things. One of the other reasons why this property was perfect for us was because it had recently been updated and modernised, we knew that maintenance wouldn’t be an issue.
We both fell in love with the garden and as there are fields directly behind our garden there is always some new wildlife to watch and enjoy.
We moved here thinking that we wouldn’t move again but our children live so far away we need to be closer. It’s been a hard decision to make as we are so happy here.
