Property description

You often hear “rarely available to the market” which is truly the case here. Originally it was kennels to the Court Haw Estate in the 19th century and is believed to have been converted around 1910 and then sold at auction in 1927, which was the last time the property was ever on the market!

This charming setting is like something from ‘The Good Life’. The current owners own the private road that leads to the detached bungalow. This property is set in acres of greenbelt with an array of outbuildings, currently used to stable a few horses and there is also a large cow shed which is used for storage, along with other outbuildings by the stables. Beyond that is a gated paddock with which some attention, could easily make the foundations for ‘The Good Life’

Woodmansterne village has lots to offer and within walking distance you have the local park, the Pub for a bite to eat or a quiet drink, local shops and Parish church. If exploring is your thing, you have plenty of neighbouring countryside and woodland.

The bungalow itself has been extended over the years, offering three double bedrooms. The living accommodation will not disappoint you as all the rooms are spacious. With ample parking and a double garage this really is a 'must see' to appreciate how much is on offer.

What the Owner says:

The village milkman lived here until 1957 when it was inherited by my family and I have lived here ever since. One of the best things about living here is the location as on two sides there is woodland being tucked away, you wake up to birdsong. It has been a wonderful home and a idyllic place to raise my children. They would have hours of fun up at the stables with the horses or making dens in the woods. With acres of their own land to roam in and having local sports club and field around the corner they were spoilt for choice. Woodmansterne has a thriving village community and have enjoyed all of my time here but a relocation prompts the move to be closer to family.
