Mum moved from her home of nearly fifty years to Walpole Court where she could maintain her privacy and independence yet feel totally secure. We were happy to see how quickly she took to village life and was able to enjoy the amenities of the village - the Church, the shop, the medical centre and community library.She joined the Puddletown Society, a Book Club,and enjoyed monthly lunches at the village hall and weekly coffee mornings. Although still driving she could easily take a bus to Dorchester, Poole or Blandford.Walpole Court gave her the pleasure of a garden and countryside without toil and anxiety. Good neighbours and friends around her gave her much happiness and her home became her haven.

At Troy Town junction branch left, then merge onto the unnamed road signposted Puddletown Forest, Tolpuddle. At roundabout take the 2nd exit signposted Tolpuddle, Puddletown.
