I have lived in Vigo since 2002, I can from a very busy Crystal Palace so Vigo was a complete change for me.
It is a very quaint area and don't think you will come across anything else like it in Kent. Not long after moving in and once my little girl started nursery, it become apparent what a lovely community I was in, everyone so friendly and helpful and now my son is going to the same nursery and still the same teachers there. My older child loves meeting up with her friends in the summer and playing in the woods - a safe haven for the children and not a car in sight. She even walks to school without having to cross the road so I would highly recommend Vigo to couples or families. What more could you want!
