Property description
Here we have this Victorian mid-terraced home which is conveniently situated to suit all your wants and needs. For those of you unfamiliar with the area, Perry Street offers a range of amenities including doctor and dental surgeries, a choice of local shops and mini supermarkets, banks, take-away outlets, pubs, and the list could go on…! For your child, there is a good selection of schools nearby which could not be found in such easy reach, as you even have one just across the road; making the school runs a doddle.
Gravesend town centre is also nearby, so if you commute to work you will be pleased to know that Gravesend railway station or, alternatively, Ebbsfleet International railway station, offers a high speed service that could whisk you into the heart of the City in around twenty minutes. Or, perhaps, you could jump aboard at Ebbsfleet International station and enjoy a long weekend on the continent.
The house itself is in good order and has been well kept, but there is still plenty of opportunity for the new owner to put their own stamp upon it. Unlike most similar properties within the area, the layout is sure to please, with the bathroom being situated upstairs and separate from the bedrooms.
Step outside for the icing on the cake! Externally, you will find a large sunny garden, with plenty of space for the little ones to run around and let off some steam, or perhaps even the perfect place to host a barbecue in those summer months.
What the Owner says:
This is a perfect first time buyers home. All the rooms are of a great size with both bedrooms being doubles and having the bathroom upstairs is a real bonus. In comparison to some others that we had viewed when we were purchasing, we much preferred the layout here, as there is a hallway as opposed to walking straight into the lounge.
We bought this house nearly 16 years ago, and we carried out a lot of work, including the instalment of a new boiler just last year so, hopefully, making it easier for the new owner to move straight in without having to take on any major works. We hope the new owners will enjoy this home as much as we have over the years.
