Location | Lymm is situated in North Cheshire between Liverpool and Manchester. To the North it is bounded by the Manchester Ship Canal and to the south it merges into the Cheshire countryside. It forms part of the Borough of Warrington and has good access to motorways, airports and railway stations. The Bridgewater Canal cuts through the centre of the village providing leisurely walks along the towpath, whilst the Trans Pennine Trail offers walkers and cyclists a fabulous opportunity to see the surrounding countryside from the original railway line.
