Location
Situated above the village about half a mile from the village centre Primary school and also approx three quarters of a mile from Bryn Bras Castle (A Neo Romanesque style Grade II listed Countryhouse built in 1829). The nearby village of Llanrug is within approx 1.5 miles offering a choice of convenience stores, a Doctors Surgery and Secondary School. Llanberis at the foot of Mt Snowdon is within approx 3.5 miles and is renowned as a popular centre of outdoor activities (Walking, climbing, mountaineering, mountain biking, pony trekking and water sports). Llanberis is also the starting point for the least rigorous of the summit routes (The Llanberis Path). There are also many other attractions in Llanberis such as the Snowdonia mountain railway, the Llanberis lake railway, Dinorwig power station, the National slate museum and Padarn Country Park. Further afield, there is the Harbour/Castle town of Caernarfon (approx 4.7 miles), the City of Bangor (approx 9.9 miles) and the A55 (North Wales Expressway) is within approx 7.5 miles offering swift road access to the Port of Holyhead, the North Wales coastal towns and motorway network at Chester.

Directions
Travelling from the Caernarfon direction along the A4086 towards Llanberis, turn right at the Cwm Y Glo sign into the village passing a garage/car sales outlet, on reaching the primary school, turn right into Bryn terrace (a single country lane - entrance between two buildings). Proceed up the hill turing to the right and then to the left, the road then levels out and the turning to Bryn Hyfryd Terrace is on your left hand side. This is a narrow lane so we recommend to park by the turning and walk up to the property as parking close to the property is at a premium.
