Property description

Built in the mid 1600’s is this charming character cottage ideally located on the edge of St Dunstans in Canterbury which is a lovely area and where a great lifestyle can be enjoyed by the new owner.

Take a short stroll from the front door down to the bustling centre with its pleasant array of wine bars and restaurants. There is a vibrant café culture and it’s also just a short distance to Canterbury West train station.

As soon as you pull up outside this property you are sure to be impressed by its charming appearance. The combination of brick and the Kent Peg tile roof are easy on the eye providing plenty of kerb appeal.

Once inside you will not be disappointed, there is a warm and cosy lounge complete with an open fire, sitting here after a busy day as the embers crackle in front of you is sure to be a great selling point. The kitchen is modern and well fitted with a great range of units which provide ample storage and means you can easily move straight in. There is also a useful utility room and modern three piece white bathroom. Both bedrooms are good sized doubles on the top two floors, there is a walk in wardrobe in the master bedroom.

The garden at the rear is a true delight with a lovely lawned area for relaxing in the warm Kentish sun and a large shed which provide useful storage.

What the Owner says:

We have really enjoyed living in our home over the last few years but due to work commitments we have reluctantly decided to move. This house has been a really cosy home for us and we will be sad to leave.

The lifestyle of the St. Dunstan's area is great and has a vibrant atmosphere with busy restaurants and café's. You can pretty much buy all your groceries here and the high speed rail link to London (and excellent farmers market The Goods Shed) is just 10 minutes walk away.
We have really enjoyed our lovely garden in the summer months and there is plenty of space for barbeque parties. It is surprisingly peaceful despite being so close to town.
