Property description
We have a one off and unique cottage here for you to view so don’t miss out!
There are miles of far reaching views of the countryside and onwards to the sea that can be enjoyed from the rear of the property and you can just picture yourself relaxing in the rear garden catching some sun drinking in the landscape.
Step inside the entrance porch and the character charm and quirkiness are evident immediately. The front lounge is cosy and has many features like an open fire, exposed brick walls, lovely timber mantel piece and exposed floor boards. There is a second reception room with another fireplace, butler sink and plenty of charm too.
There is an extra ground floor room to the rear leading to the garden and your meals can be prepared in here whilst enjoying the outlook. There is a ground floor loo with a view and shower to complete the accommodation on this floor.
Upstairs are two bedrooms both with a beautiful outlook. The rear faces towards the sea and the front towards Brading Downs. Situated down a country lane there is a real rural feel to the location yet Sandown and Brading Towns are just a short drive away. The only sounds you will hear are the birds singing, what an oasis of peace quiet.
What the Owner says:
We both wanted to watch the seasons change throughout the year and we couldn't of chosen a better place. After growing up in the city the stillness and tranquillity of Adgestone is like a soothing balm, each morning waking up to a different mood of the season. There is an abundance of natural world right on our doorstep, enchanting walks too, we thought "one delight after another". We so enjoy our two open fires cheering up misty Autumn evenings and by day our South facing garden with sublime sea and country views. Close by is the oldest vineyard in the UK and Brading Roman Villa, both affording fascinating trails to reach them. The local beach is Sandown (true to its name). Sad to leave due to job relocation in Portsmouth.
