Property description

Having enjoyed a brisk walk in the nearby woods, taken in the delights of Toad rocks, and perhaps a drink or two at the local pub you wend your way past the beautiful Common, down a pretty street of Victorian houses and down a charming pathway to a little community of period houses set further off the beaten track, nestling comfortably in the small valley below. On your left there is a beautiful, picture perfect Victorian house that you wish is the house you have come to see - and to your great delight, IT IS!!!

Entering the pretty front garden, a magnificent magnolia claims your attention before you are drawn back to the house; its beautiful red brick and stucco porch, gothic trefoil windows and clematis clad tiled roof. Inside, the open fires warm the wooden floorboards in both the living room which looks out over the garden, and the dining room which overlooks a little courtyard.

The dining room is next to a charming half vaulted kitchen and is the heart of the house.

The main bedroom overlooks the garden, the little row of cottages and upwards to the Common beyond, the second bedroom looks over towards Loaf rock.

Transport yourself into a picture postcard; feel like you are on holiday every day. Love where you live.

What the Owner says:

This pretty house was so much nicer than anything else we had seen on the market; we simply had to view it. We arrived early, popped into the local pub and were instantly charmed by the location - the amazing Toad rocks, the Common and the rural feel of the place all took us by surprise. The village and its amenities have been amazing. Your essential shopping and more are well catered for and there is such a vibrant community spirit.
We think this is a rare thing to find especially as we needed to be close to a mainline station into London and wanted to be close enough to shops bars, restaurants and cafe culture of a vivacious town like Tunbridge Wells. We truly hope you love living here as much as we have.
