Property description

Words simply cannot describe how well looked after and stunning this cottage is. It retains many original features and has been sympathetically decorated. After pulling up outside you will certainly have your attention grabbed by its prettiness and you will definitely want to view inside.

Upon entering the lounge you can see how fresh the décor is, which complements the room and showcases the fireplace with the log burner and the exposed stone walls. This room emanates cosiness and comfort.

The kitchen, which looks out over the garden, has country style units and a breakfast bar. It opens into the dining area, where there is space for a table and chairs along with a full size dresser. There is also a large utility room, which enables you to keep all your washing out of sight and provides extra storage space.

Bedroom 1 has an exposed stone wall and there are two windows that let the light in, making this room very bright. There is also two built-in wardrobes, so you won’t need to worry about storage.

The back garden is in keeping with the house and follows the cottage theme. It is low maintenance and has attractive, brightly coloured and fragrant flowers, making it the perfect place to sit and relax during the summer months.

What the Owner says:

We have only lived here for four years, but we have made the very hard decision to say goodbye to our beautiful cottage as we are going to be moving to Spain permanently. The location is excellent as we are by the green and the canal, making it very central and close to the shops. As we enjoy walking, being near to both the canal and seafront, gives us plenty of scenic routes to choose from.

If you enjoy eating out then I suggest you head to the High Street, as it has an excellent selection of restaurants and coffee shops, and all the pubs serve great food; what more could you ask for? When it comes to shopping we can choose from Waitrose, Sainsburys, Aldi or Iceland, which cater for all our needs.
