Property description
This is a property that certainly offers a mix of two worlds. On one hand there is peace and tranquillity that most of us seek, as this wonderful home is situated on a quiet road in this sought after location which is known for its cobbled streets and stunning properties. On the other hand it is just a short stroll into the heart of Gravesend town centre where you can choose from an array of bars and restaurants and, of course, the train station where you can jump aboard the high speed service, whisking you into London in just over twenty minutes.
You are greeted by a welcoming entrance that leads you to the front door and what lies beyond is sure not to disappoint either. As you step over the threshold, you will instantly feel at home and will not fail to notice the many original features such as the beautiful high ceilings. The dining area is open plan to the kitchen area making a very sociable space, so you can invite over some friends and throw a dinner party. Why not, if the weather permits, spread those social occasions out onto the beautifully landscaped garden.
The rear, low maintenance garden is of a good size, can also be accessed from the side of the house and is the perfect place to sizzle up a barbecue whilst you catch up with loved ones over a glass of wine. You could almost forget that you are situated in the heart of the town centre as it is very private and basks in the sun for most of the day.
The property is ready to move straight into as there is no work to be done here.
What the Owner says:
When we first viewed this house, we instantly loved the fact that it was so quirky and felt at home straight away.
We have carried out some work to the property over the years, including fitting a new combination boiler, laid new carpets and a new shower room suite.
The location is so ideal and there is a lot to do around the area. The Windmill Hill Association regularly organises festivals, fetes, street parties and jazz bands that take place on the top of Windmill Hill and is open to anyone to join the festivities.
