I really enjoy people's reactions when they come here. The flat feels like a house; it's huge and airy and there's a natural flow that means there are never any awkward moments moving through it. I love the fact that it was the hub of the big house originally. The huge fireplace, dumb waiter and original courtyard really bring a sense of history to it. If you have any preconceptions about flats, think again - it's a real haven, a private space, and very tranquil. My own entrance is a real bonus, and being a short walk from the woods, parks and the Pantiles, this has been a perfect home for me for over a decade. The only reason I'm moving on is to be closer to open countryside.
