Property description

If period features, character and charm are top of your list, as well as a fabulous location, then this fantastic ground floor flat in certainly one to view!

From the moment you approach the building and walk up the steps to the communal front door you will be bowled over by the kerb appeal it has to offer.

Once you enter the flat the lounge will take your breath away - a great space for entertaining, relaxing on the sofa in front of the television or throwing open the double doors onto the balcony in the warmer months and relishing the summer evenings. The size of this room is accentuated by the high ceilings.

The kitchen is at the rear of the building and is wonderfully in-keeping with the rest of the flat. It is the perfect place to get those recipe books out and the piece-de-resistance are the steps that lead from the kitchen to the communal garden where you can soak up the sunshine or there is plenty of space to have family and friends over for a barbecue. Out of the four apartments in the building it is the only one with direct access to the garden.

The main bedroom oozes style and glamour and the second bedroom is large enough if friends or family want to stay over and the bathroom is just the place to enjoy that long awaited soak in style.

Located within easy reach of the town centre, stations and most of Dorking's schools, including the ever popular St Pauls, it's easy to see why this flat won't hang around for long.

What the Owner says:

We bought this flat 3 years ago and we were instantly bowled over by the 'wow' factor of the lounge, the high ceilings, wooden floors and period features. The icing on the cake was the direct access to the communal garden and the balcony off the lounge, we have spent many evenings in the summer sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine. It's a lovely quiet location to live yet it is within an easy walk of the town centre. The flat was in really good condition when we bought it so apart from re-decoration and tiling the kitchen we've not had to do any work. We are now taking the next step up the property ladder and hope the new owners will enjoy living here as much as we have.
