ABOUT HAYLING: The sandy four mile long Blue Flag beach is popular with swimmers and windsurfers and the golf club fronts the beach. Shopping on the island includes three supermarkets, an open air seafront market once a week, a large number of smaller food and clothing shops. Larger supermarkets and more comprehensive shopping can be found in Havant six miles away. Parking is relatively easy with a number of shops also offering free parking.
