The time had come for us to down size and we were keen to find a property nearer to the town and hopefully in good condition. We had looked at a number of retirement apartments but with all the communal lounge areas they felt very much like a hotel, and we were not very keen on that. Hills Place was the perfect compromise, having our own front door made it feel very much like our own home. It was and still is in very good order so we did not have to do any work and with the management company looking after the property we had the peace of mind we needed. The location was also ideal, a sensible walk to the town and local shops, so we would never be stranded even after we had stopped driving.
