Property description
This house is an ideal buy for those looking for a first home. Buy to let investors are sure to be just as keen on this one too. Found in a popular street that is wider than your average road, parking can be a lot easier here than it often is in other Victorian roads with room on both sides.
Having said that, you might not need a car as it is a short walk to the town centre and within approximately a mile from the railway station. From here you can be into London Victoria in under an hour. On the weekend you can travel the opposite direction to enjoy a trip to Faversham or down to the coast. For a pint of milk or any other everyday essentials, the local convenience shop is just around the corner too.
The house itself is a great size, with a lounge area having the original sash bay window and a cosy feel which will make it perfect for a winter evening. The large dining area features enough space for an extra seating area and as such those with children will appreciate it as more a ‘family room’. Any budding chefs will love the large kitchen with an abundance of worktop space as well as lots of cupboards for kitchen gadgets. An upstairs bathroom saves the run down the stairs in the evening, but a downstairs toilet means guests will not have to trek upstairs and through the bedroom.
Being end terrace and with access via a side gate means motorbikes or bicycles can be safely tucked away of an evening.
What the Owner says:
This house was a great first time buy for us and we have really enjoyed living here. It has been the perfect home to start a family in. The time has now come for us to start a new adventure in a new home in a new area, but we will always remember living here fondly.
When we first viewed we were attracted to the fact that some of the Victorian character remained, especially the lovely bay window which also lets in lots of light to the lounge. The kitchen is also larger than other houses we saw of this style, which was a big tick in the box for us. The garden is also a good size, both as a couple for summer barbecues and then with young children too.
