Property description

Set just off 'the green' in the heart of the village of Saltwood and opposite the village hall, you will find this hidden treasure. After opening the garden gate, you will be greeted by a stunning country garden with a small path that will bring you to the front door. The garden has many attractive plants, is well looked after and comes complete with summer house, so you can easily imagine enjoying this space during the warmer months and you will find it easy to look after.

Stepping inside you will see that this home has been well maintained and that you can simply move in and unpack. The bright and airy lounge is the perfect place to greet and entertain your visitors and, when the long nights draw in and it gets cooler, you can picture settling down in front of the warm glow from the cracking fire, in the hearth of the large inglenook fireplace.

Although the kitchen is modern and contemporary, it does not detract from the character this home offers and there is woodwork and beams abound. There is plenty of room to prepare meals for your family before sitting at the table in the dining area with your friends and family.

This home epitomizes country living at its best and you will certainly not be disappointed after your visit.

What the Owner says:

Saltwood is lovely with many nice walks, a pretty church, village store and restaurant. There is an excellent primary school nearby and Sandling station is great if you need to get to London. If you want to do more shopping, the nearby town of Hythe has many more shops and several supermarkets. I find that I enjoy the best of both worlds as I live in the countryside and have a beach only a short drive away.

Saltwood hosts a lot of local activities ranging from bell-ringing to badminton, so there are plenty of opportunities to make new friends. You will find, as I have, that the villagers are very welcoming.
