To the north-east, via the beach or seawall, the coast can be followed some 2 km to Langstone Rock and the resort of Dawlish Warren beyond, although this path is blocked at extreme high water

Dawlish has a large town boasting plenty of local amenities and facilities including plenty of shops, Hospital, Dawlish Museum, the Shaftsbury Theatre, lots of sporting facilities including a swimming pool, various clubs and 2 bowling greens. There are lots of fine pubs and eateries to choose from

Transport links from the town are excellent. A local shopper bus also passes nearby this property so there is easy access to the town
