I successfully ran the village post office in Wroxall for 16 years with my wife before retiring several years ago. We didn't used to just sell stamps but stationary, cards and household goods. The great thing about the shop was I got to know pretty much everyone in the village who are all very friendly. When I retired I hoped to finish working in the shops and start work on the house to the rear but with so many jobs to consider its a worry to know which one to do first. I appreciate the house will need to be modernised but I have reflected this is my realistic guide price. I would be delighted to see the shop open again and with a family home to go with it, the possibility of working from home and being your own boss is a reality.
