Having spent most of our lives in London, we were over the moon to retire here.

We fell in love with the bungalow as soon as we saw it despite the fact it needed updating. The large windows felt bright and welcoming. Adding a conservatory has meant that the family can visit and there were normally around 16 of them here at weekends.

The neighbours are the best and we feel honoured to have made so many new friends in our retirement.

My husband built a pergola in the garden with a swing beneath it which has been used and enjoyed by all 3 generations of the family.
