Property description
You just know you’re in for a treat as you walk up the garden path to this pretty home. The immaculate garden gives a small taste for what is in store for you inside. From the moment you cross the threshold it’s clear this home has been meticulously looked after and thought through. From the cleverly concealed storage space for shoes to the hidden utility area completely out of sight to visitors, this house is big on storage and makes use of the space very well indeed.
If you do a lot of entertaining you’ll be in your element in this home; as your visitors relax in the dining area you can chat away in the kitchen whilst preparing a feast. Furthermore, the dual aspect lounge area provides a welcoming and cosy space. The two double bedrooms are beautifully large and bright, with bedroom 1 having bespoke wardrobes offering that all important hanging space. The current owners have taken care of every single little detail here. You could quite literally move straight in as the finish is excellent, and the recently renovated bathroom in itself is further testament to this. Moving outside it’s clear the low maintenance garden is a real feature of this house with its manicured lawn, beautiful flowerbeds and decking area - a perfect sun trap.
Being close to the town of Uckfield, this road benefits from being completely private and peaceful. With the addition of a garage and parking for three cars, there is really so much to love about this fantastic home.
What the Owner says:
Having been here for over 15 years, I can honestly say that apart from my childhood homes, this is the happiest house I have ever lived in. Cambridge Way is a very quiet road, with lovely neighbours, close to the wood and forests great for dog owners.
The garage can easily be converted into a home office/utility room or even an hobby room should the new owners wish to do so.
Being so close to the station, five minutes by car, ten minutes by bus and a twenty minute walk on a lovely summer's day. The local pub, "The Ringles Cross", is within staggering distance and is a lovely old pub with good food. It's where I did all my 'networking' when I arrived in Uckfield as I knew no one in the area.
