I moved here as I wanted a more rural lifestyle and a cottage to go with it. The garden here was probably the clincher, though the internal condition left a lot to be desired so the potential was also exciting.
Since moving in I have completely changed the internal layout on the first floor. The bathroom and kitchen have been re-fitted.
I also added the double garage and as the garden is across the courtyard I added a kitchen at the back of it which allows us all to keep thirst quenched when hosting garden events!
I'll miss the peace and quiet as well as the feeling of being safe.
It's a great neighbourhood and we have occasional gatherings including an annual Croquet tournament.
