This home was perfect for Dad as he could get everywhere he needed to from here. It was a flat walk into town and he had his independence so we always felt reassured that he was safe. The community is really friendly with everyone keeping an eye out for each other yet keeping themselves to themselves at the same time and Dad settled in really quickly. He used to love sitting in the garden. He would sit on the park bench outside the front door and just take in the beautiful surroundings.

Whilst the flats are more readily available here, the houses don't come up that often and I think before Dad lived here, the previous person stayed here for a long time too! Guess that in itself says it all!
