Property description
Pull onto the drive and if you have more than one car as well as a motor home, caravan or boat there is plenty of space to park, which is perfect. Deceptive from the front, this bungalow will suit old and young alike.
The separate dining room is a great place to entertain, during the day the light streams through the central apex, flooding the room with natural light. The lounge flows from here as a great place to relax with double doors opening to the garden. The master bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom with jacuzzi bath and underwater lighting, meaning you will always have your own private space and your guests can have the adjacent wet room with its power shower. Both bathrooms have under floor heating, and you will be enchanted by the mosaic floor in the en-suite. In the master bedroom there is an alcove with window seat overlooking the garden; the perfect place to read a book.
The rear garden has stunning woodland views and is the perfect place to relax. There is a patio area for entertaining, with a large workshop, shed and greenhouse to one side.
Blean school is nearby, together with bus stops providing easy and frequent access to either Canterbury or Whitstable. Blean village has a local shop with Post Office, Doctor's surgery and thriving village community.
What the Owner says:
We moved to this bungalow back in 2003. Apart from its convenient location, the first thing that sold it to us was the secluded, rear garden and its sunny outlook toward the forest; with plenty of wildlife to see. Having two cars and two boats, the next most important thing was the large amount of off-road parking, the generous garage and a workshop. We nearly missed out on viewing this property as it didn't look very large from the front, but once inside we realised it had everything we needed, including a separate dining room, which was really important to us for entertaining. Thinking back, we have really done quite a lot to the property whilst we have been here including new bathroom and kitchen.
