When I purchased the flat it had a very different layout to what it does now. The changes have made such a difference and we are very pleased with the final outcome. As a result it has been a great place to live and we are often complemented on the flat by everyone who comes to visit. This flat shares the garden at the back with the flat upstairs but it is more like having a private garden because we can access it directly from the kitchen.
Parking is not an issue because the British Legion are happy to rent us a space and this currently costs only £8 per week. Other than the buildings insurance, this is the only cost associated to living here, so it is also a very cost effective place to live.
