I moved here a few years ago now as I was looking for somewhere to settle.
Horley is a great town to live in - it is easy to just hop on a train to the coast or into London for a day out. I was very impressed with the local facilities, and as I don’t drive, there are two supermarkets within easy walking distance. Everyone is friendly here, you can be as sociable as you want, with activates and trips planned, there is plenty to do, but if you are more independent you can come and go as you please. There is something for everyone!
