Property description
This rare gem of an apartment truly must be seen to be appreciated. Located in the heart of this idyllic Kentish village, this former coach house has been converted into nine flats with this one occupying the top floor.
Being on the top floor, the views from every window are stunning. Reaching out over the Kent peg tiled roof tops of neighbouring homes and across to the church, Archbishops Palace, market place and North Downs, it’s difficult to not just stand there and constantly admire it like a priceless oil painting!!
The accommodation occupies the whole of the top floor of the building so your only neighbours are below you.
The apartment has gas central heating and benefits from the rising heat of the other flats so it's nice and cosy during the winter. During summer the flat is airy and cool on even the hottest days as its prominent position catches the lightest of breezes.
The village itself is about 5 miles north of Ashford and has its own; railway station, pubs, restaurant, butchers, baker, coffee shops, primary school and doctors, all within walking distance of the apartment. It also has great links via main roads to Maidstone, Canterbury and Faversham.

I actually lived here from 1999 as a tenant but soon fell in love with both the building and the village, which prompted me to purchase the property from my landlord. It was the first place I viewed and I was instantly smitten by its charm. I absolutely love it here, it just has that something about it which feels right! The residents are very proud of the village and there is a nice sense of community with many events held to raise money for the Christmas lights on the High Street which are tastefully understated, yet quite stunning.
Being situated fairly centrally in Kent it's a good hub that's within easy reach of the North and South Kent coast. It's a few minutes' drive to Ashford International station also, so France is virtually on the doorstep.
