Property description
If you are after a home that is a little bit different then this stunning freehold cottage is full of charm with a modern style.
The home has a lovely open plan lounge/kitchen area and is a great place to enjoy catching up with your partners day whilst you cook dinner before retiring to the lounge area.
Then why not sit on the sofa and enjoy the T.V. unwinding with a glass of wine or a bag of popcorn.
Afterwards head off to the bathroom and pamper yourself in a relaxing bubble bath and light some candles to set an ambient mood before retiring to bed.
Having everything around you is a real plus point, you can enjoy a pint from one of the local pubs which are allocated close by. With a couple of local shops including a useful Post Office and Morrisons and Aldi Supermarkets within walking distance you will never have to worry about running out of those essential supplies. At the weekends why not take a stroll in the afternoon and follow the River Dour footpath all the way to Kearsney Abbey or head off to the sea front and take a stroll along the promenade.
With Dover Ferry Port nearby you can always take a day trip to France and stock up on some French wine and cheese etc. If you fancy a night out in London then Dover Priory train station is just a short drive away.
What the Owner says:
I bought this freehold cottage around 8 years ago, originally I was from Canterbury and fell in love with the charm of this unique home.
During my time here I have redecorated throughout and changed a couple of things to make it feel more homely, having many local shops nearby has been extremely helpful to me and without doubt will be something I will miss.
