Property description
"CANNING ROAD"
A very charming period Victorian street situated in a very sought after area of E17, a couple of good reasons why.
1. Transport Links :- Very close to Blackhorse road tube station which is on the Victoria Line, very fast links into the city, a choice of 2 British Rail stations, one going to Gospel Oak, the other going into Liverpool Street. The huge bus station, with buses taking you all over London. For roads, you have amazing access for the M11, M25, A406, A12 and A13, Stansted airport is approximately 35 minutes away!
2.Shops & places to visit :- A five minute walk puts you in the middle of Walthamstow High Street, in fact the longest street market in Europe, rows of outside stalls, a modern shopping centre and opening soon is a new Empire multi screen cinema and a complex with new places to eat. Lloyds park is a short walk away as well, now known as the museum quarter, the famous William Morris gallery, (which won " BEST new museum in England") the home of the famous 19th century designer, which also backs onto the park which has just undergone a massive lottery grant, a great space for the family to explore and when you get peckish pop into the Bistro.
The area has a good sense of a community spirit, great for families as very good schools, parks and places nearby.
What the Owner says:
What i like most about this house is that there is no box room, all rooms are double rooms and have served my growing family well over the years. i also love the conservatory (lean to) which serves as a washing area with machine and dryer, but it also serves a a place for extra storage with fridge, freezer and filing cabinets and more. my final love is the summer house which has electricity and has served as an office and study area as well as a relaxing garden escape getaway
For shopping and bargain hunting I have the high street literally down the road, nothing is better than a stroll through the rows of stalls, searching out bargains, the banter from a typical east end market, at the end of the day relaxing with a coffee at one of the may good places to eat.
