Property description
Set on a 0.307 acre plot, with plenty of charm and character, this delightful and imposing house will be sure to excite you and I am sure that you will fall in love with it. This beautiful 'Heritage Potton' property will capture your attention instantly as you approach it from the gated drive.
You will also notice that there is a two bedroom guest house to the side, a perfect space for elderly relatives or teenagers to have their own independence and private garden. There is also a useful connection door into the kitchen of the main property from the lounge area of the guest house.
Imagine entertaining family and friends on special occasions and the ease with which you could cater, especially with the spacious kitchen and dining area.
The large brick built inglenook fireplace with four seats and built in wood burner in the lounge provides the perfect place to wine and dine in the colder months too.
On warmer days, more time can be spent in the large garden which I am sure the children will love and you can keep a vigilant eye from the house. With the many reception rooms, the versatility of accommodation for your ever changing family will be apparent.
Positioned in a cul-de-sac you should encounter a more peaceful life and with a short drive to the motorway, access for London commuting and the coast for days out will be easier.
What the Owner says:
It was the design of the house that first drew me in; the exposed beams and the open high ceilings leading up to the 1st floor in the hallway. Although it’s a relatively new property it has all the charm and character of a much older house.
It’s certainly a house for entertaining; we have friends round all the time and often have parties. The good news is there’s plenty of space for everyone, you’ll struggle to fill this house.
The other massive advantage is the ‘guest house’ to the side. My parents live there in what is basically their own link detached 2 bedroom house. They even have their own sizeable private garden.
