This has been a fabulous family home. During the Summer, we fling open all the windows and doors and we have the most amazing holiday home -often full of family and friends. Our stunning sunken garden is perfect for BBQs and family games of badminton, tennis and croquet. We often take the short walk down to the beach to go swimming, body boarding or crabbing (our record is 47 crabs in one session), followed by a lovely sea food platter while watching the gorgeous sunsets.

Our children also travel to Ryde Private School every day with the link of the school bus which picks them up in Totland village and also brings them home which has been a fantastic benefit for us.

Through the Winter, our log burners keep us snug as we listen to the rain lashing against the windows and the distant fog horn. Briarwood is a big house with plenty of rooms to explore and hide in, yet it is incredibly cosy and warm. Our Christmases here have been nothing short of magical. We have loved our 5 years our home and we will be very sad to move on.
