South Harting is one of the most picturesque villages in West Sussex. Its church sitting high up at the end of the main street is both delightful to look at and beautiful to visit having its origins back in medieval times.

My father lived here for some thirty years and became immersed in the life of the village; running the football, cricket and darts teams.

He was a feature writer who started his career on the Petersfield Post.

Three of the cottages were at some point combined to make one house, which my parents bought, and it was subsequently converted by my father to create two, he then sold one and kept this example.
