On the day I visited this seafront apartment the sun was high in the sky and it was a real scorcher. Take a walk up one flight of stairs and you have arrived home. Alternatively you can use the lift (perfect for carrying in those shopping bags from the nearby Waitrose). Unpack in your very spacious kitchen, then grab a cold drink from the fridge and open up your patio doors. As you take a sip of your drink and watch over the ever changing seascape you may well feel that you never need to take a holiday again.
In one direction you can look out towards Broadstairs and in the other you can see the way to Sandwich Bay. Even when the winter gets here watching the waves come crashing in will be spectacular that those blues will melt away.
Whilst I sat outside on the balcony (people & sea watching) I was thinking to myself that this would make a perfect second home as an escape from London. It also struck me that if I were ready to retire then this apartment would be idyllic, particularly as all of the rooms are so spacious.

My parents retired here to be close to the sea. They were over the moon to find an apartment that was directly on the seafront.
They used to spend hours sitting out on their balcony taking in the views, when I visited they would tell me the stories of most of the passers bye they had got to know.
Since they moved here they never felt the need to take a holiday as they told me that every day in their home was like a holiday.
