Property description
An enchanting 3/4 bedroom period house circa 1750, believed to have been originally constructed as two cottages, situated in a peaceful tucked away position in the heart of Otford Village. This unique property has been restored and carefully modernised with style and originality, and great care has been taken to preserve many of the original features, including timber beams, latched wood doors and the focal point of the elegant sitting room is the original inglenook fireplace.
The accommodation is laid out as follows: On the ground floor, there is a spacious country style kitchen with hand painted units in ultra marine, a portable centre consol/breakfast bar and a three oven electrically controlled Aga Range Cooker with independently controlled twin hot plates. The kitchen is open plan to the triple aspect dining room. There is a utility room and shower/cloakroom, and the fourth bedroom/study and a 20' beamed sitting room with an inglenook. On the first floor there are three double bedrooms and a family bathroom. The delightful south facing secluded gardens are superbly stocked with a wide variety of climbing and flowering shrubs. A delightful and lovely home which has to be viewed internally to be fully appreciated.
