The next conundrum is which bedroom to have as your own? Be it bedroom 1 complete with exposed chimney breast, fitted cupboards, wardrobes and a stripped oak floor? Or the loft bedroom 2 with its vaulted beamed ceiling and large storage area? There really is a lot to choose from here.

The gardens are a real plus point too, with a suntrap of a patio and character aplenty

We just loved the idea of being able to hop off the bus, or out of the car at the front of the house, shut the door, and feel like we’re in the countryside. . We have a communal garden and a separate private enclosed garden in keeping with the cottage, with well-stocked borders, a variety of plants and a summer house. There is also an outside brick built store.

You really feel you are in a part of the countryside with the only thing that breaks the silence being the sound of birds singing.
