It has inevitably been changed and modified over the years with the most prominent alteration being the Georgian flush frontage from the Original Tudor jetted first floor and the Kent Peg Tiles replacing the thatched roof covering. Many of the original features from various periods of this property's history have been preserved and were uncovered, along with numerous interesting artefacts by the current owner with the help of the local conservation officer. The property is believed to have been owned by many generations of the Danes family who owned the 'Anchor Brewery' in Aylesford. It also features a 'Yorkshire light' horizontal sliding sash window being very rare for this region.Situation: Aylesford Village is nestled on the banks of the River Medway at the foot of the North Downs in the County of Kent commonly know as the Garden of England.
