Property description
What was meant to be a home for just a few years turned into fifteen and when you see this property you will understand why. Not only is it located in a safe and quiet cul-de-sac in this wonderful village, it also has plenty of accommodation to suit everybody. The owners also chose this particular plot as it had a generous size garden which can be hard to find with modern homes.
There is a detached double garage to keep the man of the house happy. This is currently divided to create an office area/garage, but can easily be changed back.
The school, shops, pub and parks are all within walking distance and there are lovely country walks close by too.
This style of property has always been one of the most sought after in the village as they suit both growing families or people who like to entertain. This is a particularly lovely home which has been well maintained and enjoyed by the current owners.
The double doors between the lounge and dining room can be opened up when everyone is over or kept shut so you can snuggle up in front of the open fire together. The conservatory can be used for whatever you need, second lounge, playroom, leaving the study at the front for peace and quiet.
The vendor of this property is connected to Arun Estates.
What the Owner says:
We chose Ashington as it was convenient for the A24, Horsham, The South Downs and the coast. It is a safe and quiet place to live, with lots of activities possible.
We bought our home from new in 2000, intending to stay for just two years. Instead of moving, we added a conservatory and engineered wood floor downstairs, then four years later, the kitchen/breakfast room and the en-suite were revamped. Three years ago, the carpets upstairs were replaced, the patio doors changed to bi-folding and a new condenser boiler was fitted.
It will be a wrench to leave, but we want to be closer to our two four year old grandchildren as they grow up.
