Broad Town

A quiet downland village snuggled just under an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (ANOB). The Wiltshire White Horse Trail popular with walkers runs through the village. There is excellent schooling locally for all ages both in the private and state sector. The village has an excellent local primary school with pre-school only a 2 minute walk away and falls within the catchment area for the Royal Wootton Bassett Academy and Sixth Form. There is a post office and two public houses, just a short drive up the hill in Broad Hinton. The market town of Marlborough is within easy reach and has a good mixture of amenities including shops and restaurants. The M4 is easily accessible and there is a mainline station in Swindon (Paddington around 60 mins).

Note

Fairview Cottage was used as a holiday let and rental property in the recent past. It can be used as part of the main accommodation with access via interconnecting doors (see floor plan for details). The central heating and services are linked to the boiler in The Laurels, but can be controlled independently of the main house.
