History | Gonitor Farm is believed to have parts dating from circa 1327 when the present name was spelt 'Guanatyer'. It is also believed to have appeared in periodical literature over the years and was mentioned in 1662 when the then owner Will Symons had to pay an Hearth Tax for five fireplaces.
