SITUATION Thame is a vibrant and historic market town, close to the Chiltern Hills and nine miles east of Oxford. Waitrose and Sainsbury's supermarkets are located within this thriving market town, as well as many local independent retailers and a colourful market is held by ancient Charter on Tuesdays, including a Farmers' market every second Tuesday in the month.



Thame has three primary schools: Barley Hill, John Hampden and St Joseph's Catholic and one county secondary school, Lord Williams's.



Haddenham and Thame Parkway rail station gives a fast rail service to London Marylebone, with trains from just 38 minutes and there is easy access to the M40 motorway (junction 7) to either London or Birmingham, as well as regular bus services to Oxford and Aylesbury.
