When we were searching a few years ago, it was to a very narrow criteria and we had already rejected 40 properties. 'The Lodges' were always an area we were very keen on and when one became available in East Lodge, we didn't hesitate in securing it.
Owing to circumstances at that time, we transformed the property into, what is now, a substantial family home. It has been a joy to entertain family and friends both internally and externally, when weather has permitted, on numerous occasions.
The main reason for us to move is that the circumstances for extending the property no longer exist and so we find ourselves with much more space than we now need.
